- Mr. Randi chronicles the story of how Penn & Teller formed on this week's "Amazing Show." Penn frequently says that there would be no Penn & Teller without James Randi, so it was pretty cool to hear Randi's side of it.
- Penn will soon publish a biography on James Randi called "My Name Is Randi And Today I Die." It's already up on Amazon. I'm really excited.
- A group of Canadians who I can only assume are otherwise really awesome decided to play P&T's unpublished Sega CD game "Desert Bus" for charity. For those of you who are not familiar with the genius of the video game that is "Desert Bus," I will explain. The premise of the game is that you are a bus driver on the Tuscon, AZ to Las Vegas, NV route. This trip takes about 8 hours. All you do is drive the bus through the desert. Nothing else happens except that the bus hangs slightly to the right, so you have to continuously steer left to avoid driving off of the road and your mileage keeps ticking upwards. The bus tops out at 45 mph, and you cannot pause the game. Upon reaching Vegas you are awarded with 1 point. Nothing else occurs except that you get to turn around and drive back to Tuscon for another point. And so on. The contestants drove for 109 hours straight and raised $22.8K. (Each hour cost an increasing amount in donations.)

Glad you dug the P and T podcast. Make sure you get the one that just went up about Randi's time on the road with Alice Cooper.
It's part one of a two parter and they're my favorite we've done so far.
Dig the blog,
Justin
